Millinette 20/75 pill and irregular periods

when i started i was spotting for about a month and a half, but it wasn’t anything heavy, only a panty liner was needed. i’ve noticed no change to my mood or my weight, but when i have my week’s break i find my period doesn’t start until around 4 days after i stop taking the pill which means they have become a bit irregular. i now also have some vagina dryness but it isn’t too bad and hasn’t affected my sex life at all.

I switched to this pill due to sensitivity to progesterone only methods and struggling with low mood during PMS. It helped my moods massively and improved my skin, however it did cause me to have very tender breasts at some points during my cycle. I took it continuously for 3 months with a 4 day break so only had a period every 3 months however usually I'd get spotting for 1 or 2 days around the 2 month mark- not sure if this would even out after a while as I was only on this pill for 6 months. I've now had to be taken off the combined pull due to high blood pressure but would have continued on it if I was able.

I was happy on this pill for most of the time. However, after about a year I started to notice more mood swings and my skin got really bad. I then also started breakthrough bleeding and getting really bad cramps. A lot of these reviews say that this pill starts to go downhill after about a year, which I would agree with. Further, I noticed that although I hadn't gained weight, it became a lot harder to lose weight, especially around the lower tummy area.
