I wanted a COCP that I could take back to back for 3 months to slow progression of my endometriosis. I have very hormonal acne that comes with ovulation and mensuration. I knew I wanted one with low androgenic effect. Also wanted one with low estrogen ?with an aim to have minimal effect on my mood (aware this can also happen with the progesterone element). Results: First few months I was unable to go 3 months back to back as had breakthrough bleeding at the 1 month point. But now at month 6 I have been able to get beyond 2 months! Think it just took a while to adjust. So I'm happy with this aspect.. Acne: No change to my acne, still having fluctuations where I would normally be ovulating and mensturating....but happy it hasn't made it worse! Mood: noticeable difference in how sensitive I am, and self-esteem perhaps has taken a bit of a knock. More easily offended/upset, which on reflection I am like WTH?! But at the time it feels very real. I didn't experience this prior to starting the pill but have definitely had it much worse on some others!

This pill is what I am currently on, and the only pill I have tried. I've felt a mood change with increased irritability and more frequent/easily triggered crying, and have experienced significant breast growth but no other major weight gain. For me, as a 15-year-old who would prefer a combined pill to any other contraceptive method, I believe it is the best fit for me, seeing as my nurse has evaluated that it is best.

This was a good pill although I did notice the side affects of my mood and libido they were much less extreme than using various other combined pills. Over all of the pills I have used this is probably the one which doesn’t affect my day to day life as much. I would recommend giving it a go if you are experiencing severe side effects from your current contraception. It’s not perfect by it’s a trusty middle ground!

when i started i was spotting for about a month and a half, but it wasn’t anything heavy, only a panty liner was needed. i’ve noticed no change to my mood or my weight, but when i have my week’s break i find my period doesn’t start until around 4 days after i stop taking the pill which means they have become a bit irregular. i now also have some vagina dryness but it isn’t too bad and hasn’t affected my sex life at all.

this is the 2nd pill I've tried, it wasn't bad. it made my periods a lot lighter but didn't help with the pain as much as my previous pill (microgynon 30). I had some vaginal itching with this pill as I did with the last one too, this is the main reason I'm stopping it. I feel like it also decreased my sex drive and caused some weight gain but I'm not 100% sure.

It was a decent contraceptive with not too many symptoms that I noticed. I used this while I was between Qlaira (which I loved but went out of stock). I knew that a low dose combined contraceptive suited me better so I gave this a shot as it seems to currently have the lowest in the market. I preferred Loette/Aviane which has an even lower dosage but was discontinued. On the whole, this one didn't give me crazy symptoms, and what was there was mild enough to deal with, but I was happy to move on to Kyleena soon after.

I switched to this pill due to sensitivity to progesterone only methods and struggling with low mood during PMS. It helped my moods massively and improved my skin, however it did cause me to have very tender breasts at some points during my cycle. I took it continuously for 3 months with a 4 day break so only had a period every 3 months however usually I'd get spotting for 1 or 2 days around the 2 month mark- not sure if this would even out after a while as I was only on this pill for 6 months. I've now had to be taken off the combined pull due to high blood pressure but would have continued on it if I was able.

I’m currently still taking this pill but looking to change. This is the third pill I’ve tried but hasnt been good. I’ve had severe an anxiety and depression. Haven’t felt like myself on it. Get frequent mood swings which last about hour or so, cry a lot. Overall would not recommend for your own sanity. However I didn’t notice any weight gain or change. My period last 1-3 days and very light

I took this for two months with no break but couldn't deal with the side effects any longer. I had a really dry mouth for a few weeks which did subside, but I had constant minor craps the entire time with spotting. My breasts were always tender and my sex drive FULLY went. It also made my mood crash which is the main reason I have stopped with it.
