I assumed that as the dose was v low the side effects would be minimal, but I had the most dry mouth and my anxiety went sky high, to the point I lost my brain completely - paranoia, memory loss, brain fog. I had to come off it after a month as I couldn't stomach it anymore. Disclaimer - I do have severe anxiety and depression normally but this was something else.

I was prescribed this pill and told to take it continuously to help with severe PMS and hormone withdrawl symptoms before the break bleed. I have been in a long term relationship for 7 years. I've tried many other oral contraceptives before this one (rigevidon, yasmin, cilest, dianette). When I was younger I suffered from hormonal acne and dianette helped to clear it but I couldn't stay on it for long because of increased risks and side effects. This is the first pill I've tried that's regulated my mood somewhat, hasn't effected my skin, and taking it continuously means I don't suffer from hormone withdrawal symptoms. The only downside is I struggle to keep weight off and have had increased breast pain on this pill, which seems to have regulated now but sometimes can be a bit annoying. I also get frequent UTIs, however this has calmed down after a longer course of antibiotics from the doc. Overall I'm happy with this pill, and it's the one I've stuck with the longest. However I'm a bit concerned what will happen when I decide to come off of it eventually and if my hormone withdrawal might be worse.

I changed to this pill after being on levest and having a horrible experience. I have also been running the pill till i bleed or taking the three packs as recommended by my doctor as i had hormone problems during my period ( depression, acne, mood swings ). Now when i have my period all i get is bad cramps and it’s a lot lighter and i’m absolutely fine. my skins so much better than on levest also. Over all i’m so happy with this pill hope it stays like this.
