An okay birth control, however the side effects of heavy periods was so not worth it for me My periods lasted 10 to 14 Days it was horrible I would go through a tampon or a sanitary towel every two hours without birth control my period would only last 5 days at the most why should women have their periods doubled it’s so draining so glad this is out my body now never again I only had it in for 18 months I’m planning on coming of birth control all together and going to use the natural cycles method want to be in tune with my own body and hormones.

So far period have been very heavy and more painful than usual, but I’m hoping that this will begin to settle in the next few months. No breath through bleeding and causes no interruptions which is great.

it was all kinds of awfull for the full 5 months. Thankfully the copper iud is out now and i am recovering. The copper iud doesnot contains hormones, but still it affects your hormones immensly. And with that your mood, concentration, metabolism and because of that: everything. when in doubt: research yourself. If you're using the coil and experiencing side effects, have it removed and start to heal. Dont just rely on medical professionals who think it cannot be related, trust your gut, get the kind of help that actually helps and start to feel better.
