I started rigevidon / combined pill when I was 15 for painful periods. I had no issues with it, no change to my mental health. You can take this pill without taking a break so it meant I didn't have to have periods which was fantastic! Unfortunately I had to stop it as I had a "visual migraine" - so I was not allowed to continue it as this is a recognised contraindication to this contraception.

My anxiety was awful on the pill, really bad mood swings and throwing up in the morning when taking it the day before. When I stopped taking I wasn’t being ill in the morning.

I was recommended this contraceptive pill for my irregular periods. It helped somewhat in the beginning, but overtime my period would overlap with the supposed 21 days of no bleeding. I had very heavy and long periods on this pill, think 8 days of heavy flow! Now I only have 4-5 days and is much lighter. I also experienced weight gain, enlarged breasts, regular headaches and moods swings.
