At first i did not know what contraception to use and i was introduced to Levonelle and my overall experience was good . I did not experience any irregularities with my period or any change with my weight.

Took it after being advised by GP even though my pregnancy test was negative. Nauseous straight away for nearly 24hrs. Had period like cramps for a day too. Worst bit was my mood was very low and emotional for 4 days, when I wanted to be happy as I was with family and boyfriend. Constantly felt like I had caused a problem when I hadn't. Didn't need to check if it had worked as I had my period a couple weeks later. Periods haven't gone back to normal and have experienced other changes since but because I started taking the mini-pill straight away afterwards.

Made me feel ill for the rest of the day, fine again the next morning though. Had quite a bit of spotting and period a little later than usual.
