Morning after pill side effects

Feeling very sick, painful stomach/cramp pains, tired muscles or aches, overall extremely tired, loss of energy, bloating and gas discomfort

I was reluctant to take the morning after pill. I was advised to take it by the nurse after using the withdrawal method. My cycle following taking the pill was 42 day long (my average cycle is about 35 days).

I had some cramps here and there, nausea started around 4-5 hours after but no vomiting but I was quite dizzy and fatigued. I got my period 5 days earlier than predicted and I had a heavy flow for 4 days instead of my usual 2 but other than that worked alright.

Complete loss of sex drive for over a week. Accompanied by low mood.

I am going through the most excruciating lower back pain ever, can’t get up

All good, easy and convenient.

I used the emergency contraception pill when someone ejaculated inside of me to avoid pregnancy and it was useful.

For those emergencies where me and my partner haven’t used a condom or had sex during my ovulation period, I’ve been used the morning after pill which has most definitely been very effective for me. I don’t really experience any excessive side effects but what I do notice every time I take this medication my period is comes a week later than normal and it can be much heavier at times with more clots , and the periods are very painful.

At first i did not know what contraception to use and i was introduced to Levonelle and my overall experience was good . I did not experience any irregularities with my period or any change with my weight.

Took the morning after pill when I needed it and I had no problems or delays with my period the following month.
