Millinette 20/75 pill and positive mood

I used this pill since I was 16 with the odd breaks until I wanted to get pregnant

I switched to this pill due to sensitivity to progesterone only methods and struggling with low mood during PMS. It helped my moods massively and improved my skin, however it did cause me to have very tender breasts at some points during my cycle. I took it continuously for 3 months with a 4 day break so only had a period every 3 months however usually I'd get spotting for 1 or 2 days around the 2 month mark- not sure if this would even out after a while as I was only on this pill for 6 months. I've now had to be taken off the combined pull due to high blood pressure but would have continued on it if I was able.

I get quite anxious about starting new medication because I worry about the side effects, but I had a pretty easy time with this pill. I used to get quite intense PMS a few days - a week before my period and this honestly stopped that. I was incredibly regular, and slightly lighter. The only negative side I had was increased sweating, but totally manageable and nowhere the horror show of side effects I was worried about. One year in, I had a silent migraine - this is the visual aura symptom of a migraine but the headache doesn't follow - so I had to come off it and switch to mini pill. I had actually had these types of migraine in the past and even though I did tell my GP that, they still put me on this pill, which I now discover they shouldn't have done because it ups your risk of stroke too much - definitely something to be aware of.
