Lizinna pill and spotting

I am so glad I came across this page. I used to be on Cilest then had to switch to Lizinna as my GP informed me Cilest was being discontinued but not to worry as it’s virtually the same pill. Such lies. I didn’t initially make the connection, but I kept getting recurrent thrush and oral thrush too. My vagina also felt very dry and I was hardly ever in the mood for sex and generally my mood has been quite low. Getting vaginal thrush is just super unpleasant and it’s not ideal getting it all the time as there’s a risk your body gets used to the treatment allowing the candida to stick around. So yes, my advice to anyone reading this- Lizinna is NOT like Cilest. Appreciate everyone is different but best to find something else. Will finish this pill pack soon then stop. Need my body to balance out.

The doctor gave me this as they had stop doing the cliest which I had been on for months. I've been on this for about 3months now and hate it! I have been bleeding for last 3 weeks!! I have no sex drive! My skin is the worst I have ever had!!! Acne becoming all over my chin and forehead! It's making me so so depressed I have never ever had my ski this bad. Sore boobs which I have never have. Tummy pain I'm going to doctors on thursday to get on it and find something else I need my skin to clear ect. I'm getting married in may!

I was told to stop Marvelon which I’d taken for 10+yrs due to cervical erosion after treatment so was put on Lizinna. I have noticed my hair is the thinnest it’s ever been in my life, my skin is going wild including on my back which I’ve never had before & I get what I can only describe as ovulation type cramps but this is supposed to stop you ovulating?! Also, I usually do have quite a high sex drive but I’d say it’s at a low now, as is my mood which are probably due to pain & changes in my appearance - I know it’s vain but I just don’t feel myself at all on this pill!!
