I was sceptical but now I Love NFP and recommend it to everybody to give it a try. I felt more like myself right after I quit the pill 10 month ago and still feel better every day. It’s exciting to really experiance how your body works. Now I can really sense in which phase of my cycle I am. I couldn‘t feel more like myself, more like a woman. Sex is wayyyyy better now!

I stopped using the pill and condoms a long time ago (using condoms of course with a new partner to start with). The pill makes me crazy, fat and all the low self esteem you could possibly think of. We (my previous partner and I) always used the withdrawal method as it was both more comfortable with us. Coming off the pill made me realise what a mess my actually womb/periods are and now i can read my body (even thou my periods are crazy). I met someone knew and we started with condoms which are ok, but you lose all sense and feeling so we then moved on to the withdrawal method which works perfectly for us. I now use the Clue App to help me maintain when and where my period issue (which actually isn't a lot of help as my period chooses when to come and no actual cycle), it gives me some idea when I'm fertile and helps me explain why I'm a blubbering mess at certain times of the month. Overall teh app is an amazing bit of kit that really helps me understand whats going on and withdrawal is right for us. I am not a very fertile person so its perfect.

I have PCOS and while being on a hormonal pill helped mask syptoms such as bad cramping and extra body hair i fell much better not being on it any more. I feel much happier generally, my sex drive came back and lost some weight. When i first came off the pill i didn't have a period for 7 months but now i'm fairly regular, around a 31 day cycle.
Somewhat negative mood
