Rigevidon and increased sex drive

Used for 9 months and at the start I really liked it kept my periods regular but I did notice they became longer. They lasted around 8 days long and became more heavy. Went on this pill to help with the heaviness and the pain but it didn’t help either. In the last 3 months of taking it I began getting random sharp pains that weren’t like cramps they were right at the enterence of the vagina and they became more and more regular to the point it was multiple times a day.

Did not even make it through my first box. Nearly instantly gave me severe mood swings- was feeling depressed the whole duration I was on it. Also had spotting in between periods, however I assume that would have resided if I stuck with it. Only positive thing to come out of this contraception was an increased sex drive.

This was the first pill i went on and mostly everything was fine apart from severe cramping every time i had a pill break so i started taking it 3 packs in a row. Had tender breasts for the first 2 months but it stopped. After about 4 months i developed crippling anxiety and low mood which was affecting my relationship as i was paranoid about everything and convinced everything was going wrong. Cried a lot and had a heavy heart frequently, also developed shortness of breath every day for over a month because of the anxiety. My sex drive did increase though so that was nice… i have since switched pills twice. I changed to the mini pill and all the mood problems completely went away so it confirmed that it was the pill causing them.
