Millinette 30/75 pill and decreased sex drive

I had a really bad experience on this pill. I would have regular feelings of nausea every I gained significant weight because my appetite became insatiable. On top of that my breasts were extremely tender. The combination of these side effects really effected my self confidence, so I would not recommend this pill. However, it should be noted that I am extremely oestrogen sensitive and it did improve my skin.

After trying multiple different pills from ages 16 to 19 I finally settled on this one. It was the first to come with no severe side effects for me and the nurse who suggested said she recommended it to her daughters and it was the best one in her opinion. I agree, as far as COCPs go this is the best in my opinion. It did lower my sex drive and alter my mood (more a feel less of everything type thing, I feel all emotions quite strongly now coming off it) but as I'd been on the pill since I first started my periods at 16 I can't reliably compare it to anything. It also masked irregular periods and a potential PCOS diagnosis but very happy with it all in all. If my PCOS symptoms get worse I'll be going back on it.

I was recommended to go on this pill due to major mood swings around my period. It has improved my mood swings & mental health exponentially, I feel I can now function properly for the whole month. It’s a bonus that it’s cleared up my spots. The only negative side effects I’ve got is a decreased libido & dryness which personally don’t bother me.
