Microgynon 30 pill and heavier periods

Average pill, it done the job. But it wasn’t for me. I’ve been on this pill on and off 3 times over the last 2 years. It did impact my mood slightly, I felt low and only realised this once I stopped taking it. On my 3rd try, it also made the withdraw bleeds extremely painful.

Awful contraceptive pill which I kept getting given despite saying I couldn't take it. It made my periods heavier, gave me bad mood swings to the points where I almost lost a lot of friends, made me incredibly depressed and I wanted to cry all the time, made me gain lots of weight, gave me period like cramps even when I wasn't on my period, I had no sex drive, and it made my skin a lot worse. I was breaking out all the time on Microgynon 30. I have since switched to Zelleta which is a lot better for me but due to the hell that Microgynon 30 put me through, I will never recommend it to anyone. In fact, I warn you all to stay away from it.

This contraception increased, ongoing depression and anxiety. I already suffer with bad pms (pmdd) and it felt like that, but all the time. I also have IBS, so anxiety gives me a decreased appetite, meaning that while on the pill I could hardly eat. I threw up the first time I took the pill, but that could be because I had it on an empty stomach. I continued use, and felt nausea for about 3 weeks before it gradually subsided. My pill breaks gave me the worst cramps I've ever experienced, and awful headaches.
