This pill was fine for the first year but after 3 years I noticied a huge change in me. This pill made me depressed, gain weight and be prone to dryness, thrush and have a super low libido. These were the main things I noticed when taking this pill. I came off it after feeling very depressed and wanting to make a change, which coming off this has. I am no longer depressed and have my libido back, however this pill really cleared up my skin, so when stopping taking it I definitely have seen my skin worsen. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this pill, I’m now on the mirena coil and feel much better with no periods ( as it’s a localised hormone ).

I have been on Lucette for about 4 years now, I started taking this pill to help control break outs on my skin, which helped a lot and cleared my skin. Downside to this tablet is that I do get mood swings and I find that certain days I'm very irritable.

Lucette 0.03 is the same as Yasmin, NHS have changed it to Lucette brand. Have been on this for nearly 3 years and have NO side effects, for example headaches. The only downside is the dryness of down there but can live with that. I have been diagnosed with PCOS and was given this medicine. It helps with hair (hiritusim?), psoriasis, less of a sex drive (had a high drive before going on this which has helped calm me down a bit) and having lighter periods. I was using the pill before I went onto Lucette and was put on 30 and 20mg before. Can’t remember their names but they gave me severe headaches like I was hungry/dehydrated all the time. If you have PCOS, this is the pill I would highly recommend (lucette/Yasmin) or Dianette.
