I've been taking Lucette for 14 months after being contraceptive free for 3 years. I haven't noticed major differences at all, however I do feel a slight mental dullness/brain fog as you usually do with the pill which is annoying but that's just part of the side effects. Overall I'm happy with it and wouldn't change to another pill! It's also helped my acne prone skin a lot

I'm going to give this pill 4/5. First off, I started on this pill in 2019 at age 20 in combination with Spironolactone (for 6 months) to help my skin as I had back and chest acne. It definitely did the job well, my skin is so clear and I have no chest or back acne, just the occasional small spot on my face. I wasn't having sex when I first started this pill so it really was just for my skin, the only noticeable side effects at first were my boobs - they grew a lot, I went from a 32dd to a 34ff. I also had some initial weight gain but didn't have a problem losing it, I successfully lost 3 stone whilst on this pill but my boobs stayed massive (30f). The other side effect I noticed were how sensitive my eyes became, even when its rainy/cloudy outside I can barely keep my eyes open without sunglasses; I believe this is due to the pill drying them out as it has done my skin. In the past 2 years however I have noticed (as has my boyfriend and mum) how emotional I am, I cry at everything, sometimes I will be working and just start crying as well as a general feeling of melancholy and being unmotivated - even my coworkers would say 'isn't it about time you cried today?'. Not ideal. I have been contemplating coming off this pill for the past year as the lack of control regarding my emotions has become unbearable, I can't have a regular conversation without crying. Have decided that I am going to do it, although I am nervous that my skin will go back to being spotty though.

I was put on Yasmin when I was 16 for acne which suited me, I was annoyed to be put on this but told it was the same hormones. Yasmin I had sex drive, Lucette it died and I got vaginal dryness getting worse as I got older. It's only recently as I've hit 30 that I've discovered this wasn't normal and I didn't have to put up with it, so I'm now on a journey to finding one that suits me better,

I’ve been using Lucette for 3 years after being on various combined pills since I was 17. It has cleared my skin amazingly, which was the main reason I switched as I was about to be referred for accutane and switching pill was a last effort before this. I haven’t noticed an impact on my mood, sex drive or weight other than what’s expected while being in a relationship in my 30s with all life’s ups and downs. The main thing I’ve noticed since starting this pill weirdly is more discharge and being very wet during sex. I back to back the pill for 3-4 months at a time as I get headaches during the breaks and it works for me. If I push it a bit longer I get breakthrough bleeding so take a break then. I’d really recommend this pill if you get on with combined pills and struggle with acne. It took a couple of months to kick in but I have had a really good experience.

My biggest issue is with the decreased libido, especially as I'm in a committed relationship. I was quite anxious growing up and I did notice my anxiety got worse in my early twenties which was after I started the pill but not sure if there is any connection.

I tried a few different pills from age of 16 which all had something not quite right with weight gain, horrid moods and bringing on bad skin. I kept going and was put on Lucette at 23 (I think), genuinely the best one for me. I feel like myself no mood swings and completely stops periods until I take my break, even then it’s quite light and over before I know it. If I forget to take one it does bring on some spotting but once I take my break and start again it’s all back to normal.

It didn't make me suicidal like Rigevidon did, but it did give me smelly pink discharge! and i mean SMELLY. Only lasted 6 days and stopping today because i simply canot stand the fishy/copper smell.

I’ve been taking this pill for about a week and started to notice sharp unusual pain in different parts of my body like my wrists, arms, chest and back, to the point of having Panic attacks and thinking I might be having a heart attack . I ended up at the hospital and they said I didn’t have anything serious, but I’ve never had this symptoms prior to starting this pill. The Doctor told me to stop taking it.

Honestly I have been pleasantly surprised with Lucette. I have been using Lucette for what feels like years now. I was originally on Microgynon and at my first check up with my doctor, I mentioned that is was really affecting my mood. I was then put on Lucette which I can honestly say has positively affected my mood - feels like it anyway. I am happier and less moody/ angry than on the precious pill. I could just feel the anger In me with the last pill but it all melted away pretty quickly after changing. That being said - I fully believe this pill has killed my sex drive. I am just not interested in it at all. I also think Lucette has affected my appetite. I feel hungry 24/7 and have definitely snacked ALOT more than before. I have gained about 4 stone since starting this pill. I have tried almost every form of diet/ exercise/ lifestyle change and I have seen no results. I fully blame the pill as I read it stores fat differently. I am looking to come off the pill purely to see if it will affect my weight at all. It has been great other than that though .. on the plus I’ve got great boobs now 🤣. If it wasn’t for the massive weight gain, I would definitely stay on.
