I had absolutely horrendous, debilitating pelvic pain that lasted a couple of days several times on the coil. No doctor could explain why, bit it felt like I was going to pass out. The process of having it fitted was also extremely painful, stressful, and borderline traumatic. Being told to take paracetamol before did not help in any way.

Really satisfied. Love that it’s a lower dose of hormones so fewer side effects. My mood is the same, if not better than before. My sex drive has increased too. Only downside was I was ill for a few weeks after having it put in but could just be a coincidence. Also light spotting for 2 months but really no issue and could still have sex (there was no blood). Having it put in was so much better than I expected, the nurse offered me an injection for the pain and only had one cramp during the whole procedure. Cramping for about 2 days after but paracetamol did the job! Would highly recommend as my experience so far is great. Would get it again for sure.

This was the only hormonal contraceptive I had least side effects with. If absolutely necessary I would use it again. Great for those who haven't had children as its smaller than mirena and copper coil
