I’ve started taking Cerelle mid December 2022 after stopping Noriday. I hadn’t noticed any negative change in first few weeks. I got my period couple of weeks after taking Cerelle and it lasted longer than usual. Since then my period stopped with sporadic spotting. I have had a few days of spots on my face but that has cleared up and doesn’t seem to pose a problem anymore. My mood is normal, when I was taking Noriday, my mood was low. I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews for Cerelle before I started taking it but I still wanted to give it a go, now I’m at the end of my third pack and it does seem like it was a good idea for me. I suffer from migraines monthly around my period and I had it only once at the beginning when I started taking Cerelle, and it was more of a low-key migraine and I hadn’t had it since then. My last period was very end of Dec/ beginning of January and since then I had spotting twice and it lasted few days. Personally, I do recommend it, but I know every body is different so you just have to try it for yourself. Unless you’re having severe symptoms, I would take it for good 3 months as I’ve had several symptoms and they all went away pretty quickly. I don’t think I gained any weight, but with Noriday I definitely have. Hope this helps!

Recommended by Gynae for suspected endo (severe bowel pain during period). Note: if you are over 14st one pill may not be strong enough. When I started with just 1 I bled constantly. So I agreed with my Dr and took two pills and this worked better for me. Pros: stopped period completely. Cons: no sex drive at all, loss of attraction to husband, detached, low mood, massive weight gain, depression, hair loss, itchy scalp. Just coming off it today as I feel like I’m at the mercy of fake hormones.

I've been on Cerelle since December 2020 (March 2022 right now) and for the first six months or so I had no complaints. I began to put on weight from the start but never associated it to the pill, but I have gained a considerable amount of weight which has not stopped during the course of me taking the pill. My skin has also gotten worse, but they were the only side effects for me really, but the weight gain has been the dealbreaker.
