Rigevidon and discomfort wearing contact lenses

I took rigvideon for several years and only when I came off did I realise how intense the constant brain fog had been, and that I could not make a decision. I was so hysterical that I was often a danger to myself and others and I was plagued by intrusive and harmful thoughts. This all lessened when I switched to Levest, and cleared instantly when I came off the pill altogether.

This pill caused vaginal dryness which led to chronic water infections. I was suffering with these almost all the time for a year before I was started on prophylactic antibiotics. This settled down within weeks of stopping taking contraceptive pills. It also caused severe acid reflux. This also settled down within a few weeks of stopping the pill. I have been on other combined pills which haven’t caused the acid reflux but have experienced vaginal dryness on a variety of combined pills.

I have always suffered with acne, especially on my back. I had been on a lower dosage pill (cleared my acne!) but suffered with a lot of irregular bleeding so I decided to try this pill. I have now got the worst skin I have had in a very long time, it’s caused my moods to decrease even more which isn’t helpful as I suffer with anxiety already. I have been on it for a month and have already changed back to my previous pill (millinette). Really regret trying!
