You have to take your temperature and do a ovulation test ( wee sample ) both in the morning then you add all in the app and it tells you if is a red day ( which you have to use another contraceptive method ) o green then you can have sex without contraception because when you have a green day you are not meant to get pregnant . I think if you want to get pregnant go for this app ! but as contraception is not very good as you hardly ever get green days and when you get them ( very rare ) you feel you can still getting pregnant also boyfriends / partners find so difficult to trust the app which it makes it even more difficult for the woman . As an app works very well and is interesting to know when do you ovulate or if you don't ovulate or if you ovulate twice but as contraception needs improvement

I decided to try Natural Cycles after having been in the pill for decades, then stopping and restarting. On restarting I noticed how moody I felt, emotional and overall felt it just didn’t go with the more natural way of life I wanted to lead. A year in Natural Cycles has been great. I’ve learned so much about my body, my irregular periods have become regular and my ovulation timing has moved from an average of day 26 to a more normal average of day 12-16! I’m now in a Stable relationship and natural cycles has meant we’ve been very open and communicate about conception thanks to this. The only hiccup for me is what to do when I’m due a period and it will clash with a holiday! And despite using the apps thermometer instructions I get unstable temperature variations and I’m not sure where I go to find out why or what that might mean.
