Microgynon 30 ED pill and cystitis

Was on this pill for around 7 years from the age of 15. Worked fairly well. The main side effects I experienced were bleeding during sex, chronic thrush, fatigue and low libido. After around 5 years I started peeing a lot during the night which led me to believe that it caused some insulin resistance. The pharmacies where I lived stopped supplying it so I ended up switching to another pill.

I have had very little to no issues with this pill! Ive been taking it since just before my 17th birthday and I’m now 21. My periods are lighter, and the only thing I can remember changing about my body when I started taking it is having slightly more discharge and my breasts being a bit more tender but that’s it. Would recommend trying!

Whilst the pill improved my skin and gave me the appearance of regular periods vs the irregular periods I was having it significantly changed my mood and personality negatively. As a migraine sufferer the frequency of my migraines went from monthly to daily with GPs prescribing further medication to treat them. After coming off the pill my migraines have almost disappeared and my mood is far more positive and get up and go. As a result of my experience and the negative changes I experienced I strongly recommend against this form of contraception.
