Microgynon 30 ED pill and cystitis

I have had very little to no issues with this pill! Ive been taking it since just before my 17th birthday and I’m now 21. My periods are lighter, and the only thing I can remember changing about my body when I started taking it is having slightly more discharge and my breasts being a bit more tender but that’s it. Would recommend trying!

Whilst the pill improved my skin and gave me the appearance of regular periods vs the irregular periods I was having it significantly changed my mood and personality negatively. As a migraine sufferer the frequency of my migraines went from monthly to daily with GPs prescribing further medication to treat them. After coming off the pill my migraines have almost disappeared and my mood is far more positive and get up and go. As a result of my experience and the negative changes I experienced I strongly recommend against this form of contraception.

After a few days of taking Microgynon I began to feel very anxious. I didn’t immediately realise it was my pill until I began to notice other side effects, notably the change in my skin. I have never struggled with acne, only having an occasional spot around my period. Microgynon changed all of that! After only a week I had sore, eczema-like rashes around my mouth. My skin felt sore, dry and inflamed constantly no matter how much expensive moisturiser i slathered on. Around the same time my skin exploded, I began to get serious mood swings. I will go from laughing hysterically at absolutely nothing to sitting staring into space feeling very very low. My sex drive evaporated and the PH balance in my vagina was definitely thrown off. I stopped taking this pill two days ago and I already feel so much better, although now I have been prescribed three more sorts of medication for the state of my skin, not the situation I wanted to be in. I was under the impression the pill improved an individuals skin!
