Does microgynon 30 pill cause hair loss?

After taking the contraceptive pill for the past 15 years and being told it’s perfectly safe, I found out at the beginning of this year that I have 3 tumours on my liver as a result of long term usage of the pill. This week I underwent major surgery and had a liver resection to remove the biggest tumour, which at over 7cm was at risk of haemorrhaging. I’ve got two other smaller tumours which will hopefully shrink now I’ve come off the contraceptive pill. I hope my story highlights that hormonal contraception is NOT SAFE!

It stopped me from getting pregnant for over 10 years but I wonder how much impact it had on my mental health. I went to the gp when I was 17 asking to review my pill because I hadn't stopped crying for 6 months and he said it wasn't the pill I was depressed. There was nothing in my life going wrong and I felt guilty for feeling so sad all the time when there was no reason. I have had therapy all my life for low mood and self esteem, now questioning if the pill had anything to do with it, it served its purpose as i didnt get pregant until I wanted too. I went back on the pill after having a baby and was extremely tearful and anxious on top of the normal hormones post birth, I only lasted 3 weeks I couldn't cope dealing with the side effects like I always had done with a baby. I have since seen divinas documentary and realise I have a choice in contraception. My partner has agreed to have a vasectomy.
