switched from a minipill to a combined pill loved it as my periods stopped and i didnt gain any weight although i was taken off of it as i experiance migranes and wasn't supposed to be perscribed it i did notice i was more sensitive and emotional whilst on it

I went on the combined pill at 16 and came off it at 21 for 12 months after research came out linking it to depression. My depression was SO much worse OFF the pill that I went back on it and have stayed on it ever since. I have since been diagnosed with PMDD, I think the combined pill gets a really negative reputation, but for me, it has made me periods lighter, stabilised my mood, and I don't think I'd ever want anything else!

I have been using this pill for almost a year. In this time I have experienced a negative impact on my mood and I have also completely lost my sex drive. My periods are lighter but have gotten breakthrough bleeding and spotting. I have also experienced migraines which is something I’ve not had before. I’m now looking for alternative options
