Cilest pill and increased sex drive

Definitely made me more emotional but my boobs were amazing (two sizes bigger), skin was perfect, sex drive was up, no problems with vaginal dryness and helped with my pcos (in that I got periods).

I have been on this contraception for 3 1/2 years now and, for the most part, I’ve had nothing bad to say. I take packets back to back until I start getting a breakthrough bleed, and then I take a 4 day break. This is what the doctor recently told me to do as well (although I was doing this for a year or so anyway). This means that I barely have periods, but for some reason does seem to give me worse cramps and mood swings when I take a break. I have had recurring cystitis and a few bouts of thrush since being on the pill, however have never put it down to the pill and just thought that i was particularly prone to it- I’m now questioning whether it is down to the pill! Recently, my moods have been extremely unstable, so I’m going to investigate possible causes for it and possibly stop taking the pill if it continues because it’s becoming quite unbearable. It’s cleared up my skin (although it wasn’t too bad in the first place) and, although my weight fluctuated a bit in the first few months, it hasn’t caused me to gain weight in the long run.

The pill has been the best thing that happened to me. Before going onto the pill my periods were very heavy and very irregular. They are now so much lighter and of course regular.. to the point I usually start my period at the same day and time each month.
