Norgeston pill and heavier periods

I have had to use this method of contraception because I have had multiple problems with the IUD; mostly to do with explusion. The one good thing about being on the Pill is that I can stop taking it any time. This is the only pill that agrees with me. Another downside to taking this pill is that I have gained so much weight!

Unfortunately I was taken off the combined pill because I suffer from regular migraines. Cerazette was the first try and that was disastrous so I was prescribed Norgeston as a second option. Have been on it for almost 6 months now but I am changing again. My skin was 'ok-ish', with some breakouts but manageable ones and mostly before and during periods so I had some time of normal healthy looking skin. My periods however have intensified which is why I'm changing pill again. On Norgeston I'm bleeding every 15 to 18 days and they are regular to heavy periods and I notice more cramping and lower back pain. I was hoping that was only for the first couple of months but it continued so I'm taking my last pill tonight and moving on to Noriday. Lucky number 3???? fingers crossed!

I’m fine taking this pill - caused no sickness nor have I had spotting or irregular periods that I had with taking Cerelle. But my god my breasts/nipples are so sore and heavy. Been taking this pill just over month and half so early days really. I’m contemplating coming off this pill In the next few weeks if the side effects of the breast pain don’t ease. I’ve put on weight usually size 12 ( I’m not pregnant). Period fine slightly heavier & longer than normal lasting 7 days but that’s fine. Main issue for me is the pain in my breasts.
