The “Nordette” pill was not much better than the Nur-Isterate injection. It just decreased my mood swings. I lost a bit of weight (went back to my normal size) my acne got worse . Libido was still incredibly low. And Vag still as dry as a desert

I was happy enough on this pill for about 4 years from the age of 16 to 20, however from 20 onwards the emotional side effects especially in the week before the withdrawal bleed were too much. I was crying all the time for no reason whatsoever which was very unlike me. I switched to the ring at the age of 21 and this definitely helped with the pms symptoms.

Side effects wise this pill was almost perfect. If it hadn't made my depression much worse, I would have continued taking it. Aside from low mood and vaginal dryness, I barely had any other side effects.
