Does microgynon 30 pill cause body hair getting darker?

After taking the contraceptive pill for the past 15 years and being told it’s perfectly safe, I found out at the beginning of this year that I have 3 tumours on my liver as a result of long term usage of the pill. This week I underwent major surgery and had a liver resection to remove the biggest tumour, which at over 7cm was at risk of haemorrhaging. I’ve got two other smaller tumours which will hopefully shrink now I’ve come off the contraceptive pill. I hope my story highlights that hormonal contraception is NOT SAFE!

Microgynon does what it says on the tin. I went onto Microgynon after having a horrendous time with Desogestrel and this is definitely better but still not great. My periods off birth control are very heavy and painful so this was the reason I went into birth control in the first place, but my week break where I bleed now, my periods are just as heavy and painful. My emotional state is ok on this pill. The only positive really is that I haven't gotten pregnant.

I started microgynon at the start of January 2022 it's now June and I'm in the process of changing to a different pill. Microgynon had massively increased my hormonal acne cross my chin and upper arms, and it has caused me to gain nearly 10kg even though I go to the gym for 6hrs a week and eat healthy. In the last 3 months my period has been starting 3-4 days before I'm supposed to take my 7 day break, and my periods have become heavier and longer in the last 3 months. Absolutely loved the pill when I first started as it made my periods regular, light and pain free, this has unfortunately changed the longer I was taking it. Now I'm switching to marvelon to hopefully reduce the acne and stop the weight gain.
