I was on it for 9 months and I only started the pill today but the injection had made me bleed nonstop and have really bad back pain and the weight gain was really bad I didn’t feel myself and the sex drive at the start was high but it kept getting lower and lower the cramps are worse than the ones i used to get and my family have a high estrogen level it doesn’t work that well when you have high estrogen levels.

Good alternative to Depo as you can administer at home, I have found that it has a few more side effects to it than depo but they're manageable.

I used this for 8 years and the first 5 years were really great. I ended up having my periods stop and I didn’t have the monthly rollercoaster of emotions, my skin then improved because of the change in hormones and all round it was great. The Depo injection however is not meant to be used for long stints like I did and starting it at 19 can have an impact on your bone density. I knew all of this and continually asked for reviews and if I was ok to continue it but all the medical professionals said it was fine. Until someone realised I’d been on it for 8 years without a break. So I’m now off this and I’d say the latter 4 years I started to get spotty, I felt hormonal and would get cramps.
