Gedarel 20/150 pill and body hair increase

Before gederal I had the copper IUD and my periods were so heavy and my skin was a mess and also it moved out of place and had to go to hospital to remove it. Before the IUD I was on the implant for many many years but struggled with my period as it was so irregular and messed with my mood which was not good for me. Since having my IUD removed in 2020 I had a good conversation with my doctor and with other side effects I deal with such as unwanted hair growth she recommended the gederal and so far I’ve enjoyed it, I’m happy I know when I’m going to bleed and feel in control of my contraception compared to IUD/IMPLANT. My mood hasn’t changed, my skin is still spotty but I think that’s just me. It hasn’t helped my unwanted hair growth I’ve been doing laser hair removal anyway but believe this is due to weight gain over the years! Anyway the pill is good I feel happy taking it and felt better in myself compared to how I was on the implant and copper coil. I’m happy to be on this up until I’m ready to have children maybe In a few years, at leats I don’t need to get something removed! Hope this helps anyone xx

I was put on 20/150 gederal after a bad reaction to a pill with more estrogen this has had better effect on my mood but with a complete loss of sex drive
