Gedarel 20/150 pill and a latex allergy

Been on this pill for the last 14 months after the doctor changed it due to supply issues with my previous pill. Experienced many changes with my body gradually over this time which I didn’t think to associate with my contraception until looking at this website and it all clicked into place. Periods have been so regular and manageable starting almost to the same hour every month but that’s a small reward to gain from the negatives: horrible acne on my chin, near enough monthly thrush, little/no desire to have sex and weight gain (potentially more than likely due to lockdown lifestyle changes but you never know). Currently investigating what contraception I want to try next and looking towards the IUD instead of the pill and I’m so grateful to have came across this website and gain the insight into this.

Used Gedarel 20/150 previously for around 9 months, with little to no negative side effects, except slight breast growth (not so negative). Began using it again this year and since starting it I’ve had breast growth again, but with negative side effects such as headaches, increased acne, lower back pain, nausea and spotting for 6 weeks!

Improved my moods as the pill rigevidon made me depressed, lost weight and my acne was bad. This pill has improved my skin and boosted my mood whilst putting mild healthy weight on. I feel better in myself. I have no bleeding at all and it is normal says my doctor. It is better for me as I had painful periods before. So I recommend for that part.
