I use the Oura Ring alongside Natural Cycles, so I don't have to manually take my temperature each morning. I'm so happy with this hormone free option. Since coming off the implant my skin has cleared up, my moods have stabilised, I'm more in touch with my body and cycle, and I finally have regular periods again after 10 years of hormones messing them up.

You have to take your temperature and do a ovulation test ( wee sample ) both in the morning then you add all in the app and it tells you if is a red day ( which you have to use another contraceptive method ) o green then you can have sex without contraception because when you have a green day you are not meant to get pregnant . I think if you want to get pregnant go for this app ! but as contraception is not very good as you hardly ever get green days and when you get them ( very rare ) you feel you can still getting pregnant also boyfriends / partners find so difficult to trust the app which it makes it even more difficult for the woman . As an app works very well and is interesting to know when do you ovulate or if you don't ovulate or if you ovulate twice but as contraception needs improvement

This app is really lovely in theory, but I followed it to a T and got pregnant during my third month using it. I stayed clear of sex on the red days and so it must have predicted my ovulation wrong.

I follow taking charge of your fertility rules, track using Kindara app. I love no hormonal side effects, found it easy to detect ovulation and I’m enjoying learning about how my body works. We use condoms when I’m fertile which is around a week per cycle which has been totally fine and much better than I expected (having been on the pill for years!)

Great that there is no side effects BUT, the app wasn’t able to detect ovulation for me because the difference between my follicular (pre ovulation) and luteal (post) is only slight. Following another FAM method where I chart myself I can clearly see ovulation and it fits within rules of other FAM methods but natural cycles just seems inflexible and doesn’t recognise it, therefore I only got a few green days whilst on my period. Perhaps if j persisted it would get better but I found using a charting method of FAM (I use Taking Charge of Your Fertility rules and use the app Kindara) much more effective!

A very empowering contraceptive method that allows women to learn about their own bodies and to work around what's natural to avoid pregnancy. Any symptoms that I have listed such as migraines occur during PMS. I would highly recommend the Sensiplan method as it has a typical failure rate of just 2%, and a perfect use of 99.6%.

It was the best decision I made. I feel so much better changing to this method

I like how it allows you to be in tune with your body

I came off the pill after 10 years and went straight onto natural cycles. It is so easy to use and I was shocked by how quickly the app predicted my ovulation/ period. My first and second periods were spot on to the day. I don’t think I will go back to hormonal contraception after this. If you can afford it then it is definitely worth exploring!

Was on the combined pill but changed a couple of months ago to natural cycles. Mood generally better, sex drive much better, skin slightly worse, periods & cramps much the same (bad, but that’s just me and my womb)

Don’t keep it on the DL.Put it on the LD.
