Millinette 30/75 pill

I had a really bad experience on this pill. I would have regular feelings of nausea every I gained significant weight because my appetite became insatiable. On top of that my breasts were extremely tender. The combination of these side effects really effected my self confidence, so I would not recommend this pill. However, it should be noted that I am extremely oestrogen sensitive and it did improve my skin.

Millinette 30/75 pill

My main reason for taking the pill is for stopping my period and contraceptive second. I don't take the 7 day break. I have heavy periods and now I don't have to worry about it anymore. However, after 3 months or so I do experience breakthrough bleeding, so it doesn't stop me bleeding completely. This was better than my experience on Gederal 30/150 as I was more prone to spotting monthly compared to the quarterly bleeding I have using Millinette on a lower hormone dose.

Millinette 30/75 pill

Great contraception at first. When I first started taking I did feel very depressed and did break out however no weight change or any other symptoms but after a few weeks i felt great and skin cleared as my body got used to it. About 1.5/2 years later I am experiencing extreme anxiety, panick attacks that can last hours, finding it hard to breathe doctors couldn’t tell me why, headaches with aura and bad migranes all day everyday, dizziness that has affected work and a week before period feel so depressed. Each time I have the period break my periods get heavier and more painful (used to have hardly any cramps) but has regulated my periods. Coming off for a break to remember what my normal self feels like and see if this is what is causing problems.

Rigevidon

This pill helped me so much mentally , it helped me regulate my mood better and focus on tasks so mentally it was great, physically however not so much. On this pill I was much hairier, oilier, sweatier and spottier than I naturally am and when I stopped taking it all of the above cleared up.It did however give me regular and much lighter manageable periods.

Rigevidon

I was moved onto Rigevidon from Yasmin about 14 years ago as my GP said the risk of blood clots was lower (now evidence looks like they are both pretty high risk). I started the pill as a teenager for PCOS symptoms (rarely having periods, excess body hair and acne). I have been very happy on this pill - my mood has been stable and good, my libido is very good, my skin is free of spots although it is oily and my periods are very predictable and light. I do still have a lot of body hair but I think this may just be normal for my genetics unfortunately, and not related to contraception.

Made me really irritable which I hated! I came off it as soon as I realised. Also made my boobs a bit sore.

Honestly the worst pill! I have been on this pill for 6 months and have decided to come off it. I experienced weight gain, loss of sex drive, bad mood swings, vaginal dryness. I do not recommend this pill to nobody. I spoke to my doctor and he said yes because of the estrogen I expereinced weight gain. So if your doctor or nurse tells you that it does not make you gain weight it sure does!

When starting the pill, i got intense cramps that lasted a good few months and then went away. Ruined my mental health & my sex drive. Improved my skin massively Since coming off: my cycle STILL hasn’t regulated and its been about 1.5 years.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. AVOID!! 6 months in this pill gave me extremely painful chronic cystic acne all over my chin and cheeks. It destroyed my self esteem and I almost had to go on accutane to stop it. It also made me very depressed. If you struggle with mild acne already, sweating, mood swings, irregular periods and excessive body hair growth do NOT let your doctor put you this pill! It is very androgenic and worsens these symptoms, but it’s often used as a “starter pill” when you first decide to take contraception. I switched to Yasmin after this and it changed my life and completely reversed all these side effects. This pill is a nightmare!

i was on this pill for maybe 2 years or less, awful. i’ve came off it about a week ago and i’ve started a new one called lizinna. my sex drive decreased a lot , i was always agitated about everything that much it started affecting my relationship. i gained weight which was shocking as i have a fast metabolism and used to be skinny. i became very lazy and just wanted to rot in bed all the time . everything just annoyed me and i had terrible mood swings not recommended

Rigevidon

Rigevidon impacted my moods so negatively - my anxiety and depression were at an all time high and I was prescribed medication for this. I gained a lot of weight and was also so prone to thrush.

I've been on Rigevidon for years now. It took some time at first for my body to adjust to the hormones – I felt some mood swings and whatnot – but after a few months, everything levelled out. Now, it's been a really convenient way to stay protected
