This is my 2nd pill change, as i was on Marvelon before but my doctor got me to change because of my low moods and my skin was awful on it. so i am now on Millinette 30-75 and i am happy overall so far - of course there is side effects with this pill too. I get a lot of headaches with aura, nausea, tender sore breasts but i have noticed improvement with my skin and moods which is why i changed pills in the first place. So i would just be careful and monitor the amount of headaches you get on this pill. my period on this pill is very light compared to me off the pill too which is good. i do experience a lot of thrush as well on this pill which isn’t fun

I was taking this pill for 8 years and came of it when I was 26 after moving in with my boyfriend and realised my mood swings and anger was so crazy. I decided to come off the pill to see if it would help improve my moods. Well.... Hello old me! Drastic mood change! I had a break for 2 years and in those 2 years I suffered every month with large ovarian cysts, non stop periods, heavy periods and extreme pelvic pain. I attended the drs ( and even got admitted to hospital with the pain. After that every month I was at my whits end phoning the Dr surgery for help. I was told the best option was to go back on OCP again. So 2 months ago desperate to sort out my extremely heavy periods and ovarian cyst pain i started OCP again... and here we are writing this review because it has affected my mood and behaviour again! To the point that on my “pill free” week I feel like normal again! This pill also gives me the WORST vaginal discharge and is extremely embarassing as i feel like I constantly have to be checking myself down there before sex ect! I never experienced this again when i came off it for 2 years! Constantly had thrush, migranes, loss of appetite but weight gain for some reason! Water retention, no sex drive, vertigo, honestly this list goes on and on. I’m now at the point were i would much rather deal with the heavy periods and pain from the ovarian cysts than deal with the pain this pill causes to your mind and soul. X
