I switched to Gedarell after being on Microgynon 30ED for 5 years. I gained about 5kg in 2 years and my body felt puffy/inflammed even though I was eating well and regularly going to the gym. This caused me to come off the pill and I lost about 8kg in 2 months. I also experienced low libido and fatigue. After coming off the pill, I realised that it was making me feel quite numb. I wasn’t feeling any kind of emotion strongly which was a big adjustment for me after coming off it. Once I came off the pill I experienced significant hair loss for about 3 months but luckily my hair is quite thick so it wasn’t noticeable. Overall, I think this pill worked better for me as I didn’t have chronic thrush or bleeding during sex like I did on Microgynon but the weight gain was the main reason I decided to stop using it.

Lost my sex drive, every birth control I’ve been on has this effect on me. The biggest change I noticed is I was so hungry on this, I was bingeing yet before I took it I had great self control and was working out. It makes me feel like I’ve got early pregnancy symptoms which isn’t good for when you worry about it. I get nausea a lot and cravings, I don’t know for sure if it’s this pill but it started about 4 weeks after I started on the pill and I’ve never had anything like this before except for when I was pregnant

while it's generally alright while I'm on it, the periods are terrible. way more painful than normal and extremely heavy. I've gotta give it credit for the skin though- alot clearer than before

Started taking this and within the first couple of days I started to get really dry which is something I’ve never experienced before especially just under my vagina it would get so dry my skin will have slight tears that will bleed and sting and I’m more itchy down there regularly and have had thrush symptoms twice after going 10 years without.
Worse skin

I didn't even get a chance to take it for more than a week until I had to be taken off it, that's how bad I reacted to it. I was put on millinette at 22 to control worsening endo symptoms, and unfortunately they stopped working after a year, so at 23 my doctor switched me to rigevidon. I kid you not I took it for less than a week and I became suicidal and actively started self-harming after being completely clean with no urges for 8 years. I do have existing mental health issues and take SSRIs to help with those, but starting rigevidon destroyed me in less than a week. My everyday life was relatively peaceful, and the only thing that changed was the fact that I started taking rigevidon. I'd be cautious if you have existing mental health issues or are prone to violent mood swings, because this pill destroyed me. Contraception, to my knowledge, doesn't interact with SSRIs, but I've since moved on to taking marvelon and I've had no negative side effects relating to my moomoodd whatsoever. It's all about finding the right chemical balance for each individual brain and their chemistry.

Went on this at 15 because I had very painful and heavy periods, which the pill stopped entirely. I had no physical side effects aside from the complete stop of periods however it did severely affect my mental health (I already have a history of mental health issues prior to going on this pill but it made them notably worse and I’ve noticed improvements after coming off it). I would notice that I’d get very suicidal and anxious a couple weeks before I was due to have a 4 day break from the pill and this would then go away after the 4 days, I also experienced feeling dazed and derealisation which has somewhat improved after coming off this pill. I came off the pill because I was scared of the blood clot risk that had not been properly explained to me by doctors, so be aware of this also.

Overall not too bad, did give me some pretty bad mood swings, felt a bit down but had no reason to be, found my mood then got better as I came off it - however this may have just been due to life events surrounding it so not 100% sure but It did made me feel a bit rubbish. Side effects period wise were fine, bled on the break

honestly great pill and has stopped my periods completely but I’ve had ridiculous amounts of headaches and period cramps, I’ve also been incredibly sweaty specifically in the night to the point I’m waking up because I’m covered in sweat which has never happened to me before

I went on it as my first contraception pill at 15, WORST THING EVER, im 16 now and i knew i needed to put something on here. I know everyone reacts different but with any pill BUT ESPECIALLY this one if u dont feel right COME STRAIGHT OFF PLEASE. I took this pill for around 13 days and everyone says stick out side effects for first month but i broke out in a rash, severe acne, belly pains, back pains, headaches felt SOOO sick was in and out of doctors they tried to tell me i was allergic to eostrogen and didnt listen to me, and i was severely depressed it led to a breakdown of my relationship and we could never have sex or anything like that because i had NO sex drive at all and ill be honest i absolutely HATED HIM. It was the worst id ever felt in my life.

When I first started taking Regividon I had a good experience, minimal side effects and had no changes to my skin, sex drive or weight. However, 3 months into taking Regividon my moods changed, I was snappy and frustrated even over little things 24/7 which affected my relationship so I came off it and went onto a different pill.

Worked well as a contraceptive. I didn’t get pregnant. However I noticed extreme mood swings/anxiety. I had a series of panic attacks whilst on this pill relating to things that normally wouldn’t have pushed me to a panic attack and the weight gain from this pill. The weight gain wasn’t too extreme but it was noticeable in a way that I didn’t like (very bloated, pregnant looking).

Started on this pill when I was 18, all was well at the start, my skin cleared up and my periods were much lighter/less painful. I then started to not feel like myself and be quite emotionally dull, I started getting headaches on the week off and being more fatigued than normal. Good for those who are looking to lighten periods or reduce PMS
