So far I don't have a bad word to say about this pill! This is the second combined pill I've tried after being on Microgynon 30 for about 6 months a couple of years ago. The experience I had on Microgynon was very negative and scared me out of trying any other combined pills until I read up about Drovelis. I'm in a long term relationship and only on the pill for contraception reasons, so slightly improved skin is just considered a bonus for me! It's nice to have found a pill that actually positively affects my mood rather than negatively impacts it like Microgynon did for me. I also lost my sex drive completely on Microgynon, but have been pleasantly surprised that I haven't had the same experience with Drovelis. I would even say it's improved my orgasm experience and feel like I get more aroused than I used to before being on pill - which I didn't expect at all! The only negative I've found with Drovelis is the occasional spotting when taking the active pills. This happened around month 3-4 of taking it but it seems to be happening less now. The spotting isn't heavy enough to use a pad or a liner but isn't ideal (hence the 4 stars). I feel like this is a great pill to try if the older generations don't work for you :)

I’ve got prescribed drovelis because I have irregular periods and my acne got extremely worse during the last 3 months. I’m now at the end of my second dose of drovelis and unfortunately my skin hasn’t recovered or got better yet. Actually I think it is quite worse and painful. Although the pill didn’t change my lifestyle and my period are regular now. I hope someone who had really bad acne to come forward with their experience because I’m starting to lose hope.

I've just started my third pack of Drovelis. I started it after trying and not tolerating other contraceptive methods (Loette, Slinda pill) for recently-diagnosed PCOS. Ever since I started Drovelis. I've had a lot of anxiety. I'm an anxious person, but this pill makes me feel in a constant state of panic. This has manifested as mandibular spasms, probably in the massester, according to my dentist, which were horrible during the first 3 weeks of treatment but have since then almost stopped. The anxiety has affected my sleep, even though I've always been a great sleeper I keep waking up at least 3 times at night, and my sex drive, since I can barely relax due to the constant feeling of panic, and this has had a negative impact on how I feel in my marriage. I also suffered my first migraine in a decade, and the 4 days of placebo make me experience flu-like symptoms, with a slightly elevated body temperature and generalized pain, but at least the anxiety goes down a bit during these days. It has had some positive effects though, probably all related to treating the PCOS: I lost weight around my stomach, , my hair also got thicker and healthier and I have less body hair. I think my breasts may have gone up a cup size, but I didn't have to purchase new bras. My OB/GYN said at least 3 months are needed for the body to grow accustomed to the new hormonal levels caused by the pill, so I will finish this third pack, and then I will go to a follow-up appointment. I am really glad with how the pill has treated my PCOS, but I don't like the psychological side effects and I'm not sure it's worth it for me to keep taking it. I'll keep you posted.

Prescribed Drovelis for PMDD, I have noticed a significant increase in stability in my mood. I do not take a "break" with the placebo pills, and skip these for the next pack. This ensures stable moods for me (a severe PMDD case). In the first few weeks, I would wake up with acidy stomach/nausea, but once I'd taken my pill it would go. After the first month or so this disappeared and now I experience no noticeable side effects.

Drovelis was prescribed to me as a third combined pill to treat adenomyosis (endometriosis) and strong PMS. From the pills I have tried it had the best effect on me. It stabilized my moom better. However, I would experience sudden extreme lows during pre-menstrual/menstrual period. My boobs got enlarged and tender and very painful during the first 3 months but these effects reduced to such extent that now on a 6th month they do not bother me. One of the most negative side effects I have been experiencing is spotting/bleeding outside of the period. Sometimes even for a whole month. After 5th month this seems to be getting better. Usually light bleeding starts around 5 days prior to my expected period. I have been experiencing severe cramps/pain during periods. But that has been there already before due to my diagnosis of endometriosis. Sometimes these effects do not get as present while taking the pill but it's very hard to draw a conlusion on that as they definitely persist.

Overall very pleased. Previously used to take eloine which elevated bad bloods etc, so found it risky to take. Having been on drovelis 3 months, and having a blood test via work a few weeks ago which came back with all good bloods. I'm happy so far! Side effects minimal my only complaint is my huge/heavy boobs kind of like when your pregnant but hey ho. A bit of breakthrough bleeding but it seems to be settling down. Skin glowing, hair getting stronger, happy mood. I'm happy so far!

Everything was ok besides the few days of severe period pain and cramps during the placebo time. I consider to change the pills.

I really wanted to like this pill as I’ve tried others and they altered my moods very negatively or made me completely lose my sex drive. My sex drive on this pill didn’t change, and my skin was looking pretty good, my breasts went up a whole cup size. BUT my anxiety increased quite a lot, I started getting a rapid heartbeat every time I stood up and was getting strange sensations in my legs like pins and needles and muscle twitches. I lasted a month before putting it away because it was very uncomfortable.
