I'm not really sure how I feel about this pill. I've been on the combined pill for the last four years, and had to switch suddenly because one of my doctors said that I cannot take it anymore due to chronic migraines (without aura). One of the main reasons I started birth control was for the awful hormonal acne I've had since the age of 9. I've spent almost my entire life attempting to get clear skin, and managed to do so while I was within a few months of taking the combined pill. Now, I've had some of the worst breakouts ever since I was first going through puberty mainly around the cheek and jaw. Deep, blind pimples that stay there for days without coming to a head, and, when they do come to a head they take ages to go away. Even smaller pimples take around a week, maybe two, to heal fully. They'll scar over and stay there indefinitely. I am extremely diligent with my skincare, I stick to the same rotation of products and generally take good care of myself, so this has completely ruined my confidence. Not to mention the horror of viewing my face underneath dim lighting to see all the closed comedones threatening to crawl out of my skin. I say I'm not sure about this pill because the amount of pimples I get are around 3-4 at once, but as aforementioned, they take absolutely forever to heal which has never happened to me before. I have combination skin, so already the pores around my T-zone are slightly larger than most people's due to this and genetic factors, but some days I physically cannot stand to look at them in the mirror. Ever since starting this pill I swear I've had pores that literally look like dents in the size of my nose and it is HORRIFYING. It is so devastating to spend so much time and effort working on skincare for it to not matter because of hormones. I can only pray that as time goes on my body gets used to the pill and my skin doesn't look like this anymore. Another thing is that I definitely feel I'm sweating a lot more, having to re-apply deodorant much more frequently than before.

The side effects I experienced on this pill were awful. I can’t take estrogen so have limited options. My mood dipped, and I had the worst breakouts of my life. Giant painful spots all over my chin which tanked my confidence, and I was bleeding almost constantly. Changed to Slynd after 3 months and can’t recommend that pill enough!

I have PMDD and took this medication with hopes it would make reduce or alleviate my physical and mental symptoms. I started taking cerazette and noticed I was very tired, so switched from taking it in the morning and took it at night time. I continued to be really tired and would need to nap almost every day even though I typically sleep for 8 hours or more a night. I noticed my mood become low, I felt numb and my libido was really low. I wanted to stop the pill at 1 month but pushed through but at 2 months I decided to stop as the fatigue and my low mood were interfering with my quality of life.

I was moved from Yasmin to Cerazette by my gp due to my blood pressure being affected. It's my second month and I hate it. I had no side effects from my other pill and was on it for 4 years. My periods used to last 4 days and were regular. Now I'm on day 12 of a very heavy and painful period. Even when I wasnt bleeding I was spotting. My skin has gotten worse, constantly oily and my hair is so greasy all the time. I used to be able to wash my hair once a week (curly), now I have to wash it 2 or 3 times a week due to build up of oils. I have also started losing a significant amount of hair Everytime I brush and wash it. I also lost all appetite and have lost almost 4kg. Also I've never struggled with body odor until now, no antiperspirant helps to prevent it and it's very embarrassing. My entire lower back and pelvis aches and I feel really depressed and fatigued.

Genuinely hate this pill. I have always experienced acne but rarely on my body until now. My back chest and shoulders are covered. I have had bleeding about 2 times a month with no changes to the pain scale. I have gained a bit of weight. Where on the last pill I was on I had lost some. Which certainly effected my already down mood. Just is not working for me.

It's my 4th month, and I hate it. I have anxiety and a depressive mood, and I am so irritated with everyone and everything constantly for no reason, and I don't want it to affect my loved ones because I know this is not who I am. My hair's thinning vigorously, and my period, which was 5 days long, has increased to 15 and counting! And it's not just 15 days of light spotting, it's a full-on heavy period which has left me so damm tired and dizzy all the time with all the iron loss. yes i missed one day of the pill which i know can create spotting but that was 2 months ago. i have been consistantly taking my pills since and its just getting worse and worse for me. i honestly dont want to continue but i have heard it gets better after a while of use. but from what i see its doing to my body and mental state i just dont think i can continue like this. I dont know what to do.

I would have given this contraceptive 5 starts if it hadn’t caused me significant hair loss. It’s a shame because I didn’t experience any other negative side effects. I am lucky to have had thick hair to begin with, but after a few months of use and noticeable shedding I have ended up with nearly half the hair I started with.

I have been on this pill just over a month and the side effects have been horrendous. I have felt suicidal and utterly depressed everyday, I feel as though I am completely not myself. I have insomnia and wake in the night with intense anxiety and my hands are shaking. I have had bleeding for the past week, extreme hunger, weight gain and feeling so angry I could punch someone. Would NOT recommend this at all, it's dangerous for women. Going to stop taking today as I can't keep feeling like this.

I used this for a month hoping it would help with period cramps. Do not recommend. I used it perfectly and felt nauseous everyday after taking it. I got a 9 day period (with cramps) during what was supposed to be my "ovulation" week.It had me feeling very anrgy, caused me period like pains and headaches daily.
