Levonorgestrel pill vs Levonelle One Step pill

I had some cramps here and there, nausea started around 4-5 hours after but no vomiting but I was quite dizzy and fatigued. I got my period 5 days earlier than predicted and I had a heavy flow for 4 days instead of my usual 2 but other than that worked alright.

For those emergencies where me and my partner haven’t used a condom or had sex during my ovulation period, I’ve been used the morning after pill which has most definitely been very effective for me. I don’t really experience any excessive side effects but what I do notice every time I take this medication my period is comes a week later than normal and it can be much heavier at times with more clots , and the periods are very painful.

Complete loss of sex drive for over a week. Accompanied by low mood.

Took the morning after pill when I needed it and I had no problems or delays with my period the following month.

Took it after being advised by GP even though my pregnancy test was negative. Nauseous straight away for nearly 24hrs. Had period like cramps for a day too. Worst bit was my mood was very low and emotional for 4 days, when I wanted to be happy as I was with family and boyfriend. Constantly felt like I had caused a problem when I hadn't. Didn't need to check if it had worked as I had my period a couple weeks later. Periods haven't gone back to normal and have experienced other changes since but because I started taking the mini-pill straight away afterwards.

Always choose the best option for you I have taken this pill numerous times so i was aware of the side affects, not so bad as other pills just a heavier period which also came early which is normal for me happems most times I've took it but overall I would recommend for a morning after solution.

It worked and you're not exactly offered a choice with what you're given but this seriously effected my mood both times I took it.
