Withdrawal or pull out method vs Combination birth control pill

Annoying to have to fuss with putting the condom on, and I don’t enjoy the change in sensation while using a condom. But I feel protected against pregnancy. I occasionally rely on pull out method, and the anxiety over my partner accidentally not timing this correctly (ie not pulling out soon enough) negatively affects my sexual experience.

Still can get pregnant with pull out method or anal

I get pretty sick on the pill and with same partner 3.5 yrs no issues but recognize not most effective practice.

Overall discomfort.

Lots and lots of weight gain to the tune of 70+ lbs in about 12 years currently. Been on depression medication for no energy and nothing has helped

I've really enjoyed being on volnea but switching to one that helps acne more.

I was on it for 4 ish years and really loved that I got no period on it and I feel it helped my PMDD - however I did get breakthrough bleeding towards the end and am switching to a different birth control

This birth control made me have headaches, nausea, and very decreased sex drive, will be switching back to sprintec.

Turned me into some kind of testosterone fueled rage monster for two months straight? In addition to severe acne, back pain, and constant sweating.

Terrible, severe depression within a few days of use. Have not experienced mood swings that bad before or since. At least the packaging is cute?

the combo pill helped get my period back to its normal cycle after spotting for 3 years on nexplanon. i definitely feel like i have retained some water weight in my stomach, arms, and face. i also have more acne than i did when i was on nexplanon. the last symptoms im dealing with are more anxiety and more sweat on my feet and palms. i’m open to trying different combo pills but i think im going to stay on this one for a year to feel the full effects/symptoms.
