Tri Lo Sprintec birth control pill vs Portia birth control pill

Not bad but increased anxiety being on the pill, acne was better and cramps and more regular periods you’d know when they are coming which was good but being on it for awhile increased my anxiety.

This has been my favorite pill of all I’ve been on in my 20+ years of using birth control. I have clearer skin, controlled weight, minimal period cramps, 4-5 day flow (less than my prior flow time), better moods, positive sex drive, less anxiety than when on other forms of birth control, and overall a positive experience.

I’ve had virtually no side effects since starting this birth control. I would highly recommend it to others!

I felt hungry all the time, gained weight (15 lbs over the 3 months I was on it), and had extremely elevated blood pressure which was not common for me — it was 140/96 at the highest, from the time I woke up to bed time. I had anxiety, high heart rate, and night terrors, again very uncommon for me.

I started taking this bc I have PMDD and also wanted to stop my period all together. I have no interest in getting pregnant. This pill was to stop my period and it did just that. I feel great on it.
