Not bad but increased anxiety being on the pill, acne was better and cramps and more regular periods you’d know when they are coming which was good but being on it for awhile increased my anxiety.

The effects coming off weren’t bad sometimes dizziness nauseous some acne but months later I’d say 4-5 months hair shedding started excessively it’s worrying and I’m not sure how long it can go on hopefully it’ll be over soon.

It sounds like you have endometriosis? A copper coil wouldn't cause the shooting pain down your legs and a sore back like that - these are classic endometriosis symptoms, in addition to extremely painful periods. Bleeding through clothes is also likely to be endometriosis or adenomyosis, periods should not cause you to be bedridden, exhausted, sick or faint - that's endo. I. have endometriosis myself and I've had the copper coil for 10 years. My periods massively improved after having specialist excision surgery to remove my endometriosis. It's all to do with the copper coil.

My moods increased, I lost 50 lbs, and my acne got better. I was using Aviane before this and I was ovulating on it. Since switching to Vienva I have not had any issues.

Had nausea the first week of both months 1 and 2. Only side effect was significant breast and butt enlargement, which led me to stop taking it.

I actually didn't really have any "normal" side effects with this pill, I felt like I was mostly normal. But I did notice that my hair was gradually thinning, and it felt like it triggered some form of chronic hair loss for me. Interestingly enough, while it wasn't a huge issue, I noticed that I had "stinky" periods? I stopped having them after I stopped the pill.

Being on this actually helps me to get fewer menstrual migraines. I don’t seem to have had any truly bad side effects over the years I’ve been taking it.
