I’ve taken this HRT for 13 years I wonder if there is any other option moving forward What are the side effects of long term use

I've had a very positive experience on HRT and it's really helped me during peri menopause. My anxiety, brain fog and night sweats are much relieved. I'm able to function in my work much better. I'd especially recommend vaginal HRT - it was a revelation nd made me feel so much more comfortable.

I have only tried this one form of HRT but has made small changes in mood and joint pain but also not helped cognitive functions and causing migraines and headaches

I started on Femoston 1/10 which was then increased to Femoston 2/10. This dealt with 90% of my perimenopausal symptoms, particularly my night sweats, increased need to pass urine and better mood due to better sleep quality.

HRT does seem to have settled well. I am going to enquire on the unscheduled bleeding whilst on the progesterone tablets. Sex drive is still extremely low so will enquire on testosterone

I was on HRT for 22 years due to an early menopause (age 39) I got on very well with it. I came off it at 51 when I reached a natural age to go through menopause. The only issue I am left with is urge incontinence. I recommend HRT to everyone I speak to about menopause.
