Evorel Sequi is a box that contains 2 different HRT patches. The box contains Evorel 50 and Evorel Conti patches. The patches should be started in the first 5 days of your period, or at any time if you have irregular periods. Evorel 50 patches are worn for the first 2 weeks, followed by Evorel Conti patches for the second 2 weeks before switching back to Evorel 50 without a break. A bleed should start in the week following the Evorel Conti patches. Patches should be worn below the waist and away from breast tissue. Patches can be worn in the shower or bath or for swimming.

Method

Cyclical HRT is where you take breaks from the progesterone part of HRT, usually each month. You will usually have a withdrawal bleed around the time the progesterone has stopped. Some methods of HRT have this break built in already.
Oestrogen is the main component of HRT. If you have a uterus you should use HRT which also contains progesterone, or alongside progesterone to protect the womb lining (endometrium) from overgrowing as this can increase the risk of endometrial cancer.

I keep taking it as I think it must be helping. However, I still have night sweats and issues sleeping. However, I know that it must be helping by topping up my estrogen

My experience with Evorel Sequi over 8 months was that it made a very slight improvement to my brain fog and feeling slightly more like myself. The patch irritated my skin and hurt quite a lot. I continued to feel wiped out most of the time and anxious and low. I'm now trying a different HRT.

Feeling good on Evorel Sequi. Reacting less badly to the progesterone patches than I did to Utrogestan, experience during those two weeks much improved. Patches don’t stick very well but easier and quicker to apply than the gel and the hack I found online with the 3M film dressing applied over the top works very well. Skin is a bit worse during progesterone patch phase but I can live with this.

I am really happy with the overall improvement of most symptoms, but I am also taking a progesterone-only pill because I started having periods every two weeks or so.

The patches saved my sanity and my ability to function in every day life. I changed from Sequi to Conti at the request of my Dr, but randomly bled with irregular amounts. After a few months of this causing me problems at work, I changed back to Sequi. The glue on the patches occasionally irritates my skin, I just need to vary the area they are used. Cannot be applied with anything on your skin or will not stick any length of time. Can sting when being removed and leave a lovely sticky residue behind.

At first evorel sequi was a game changer , had previously been on gel and progesterone tablets but the tablets gave me incredible headaches and made me lethargic . I had one year of really successful use on sequi but have more recently found it ineffective Probably needs a review.
