I had heard good things about the patch so decided to try this after coming off of the implant. The patch itself was fine but I think my body just didn’t like the massive amount of hormones that comes with it. For the first 2 weeks I felt sick most days, sweating a lot and had HORRIBLE headaches, they wouldn’t go away even with painkillers. I felt really tired and irritable which I believe was caused by the patch as after I decided to stop it I felt back to normal after a few weeks. The application of it too put me off as it can be sore to take off and while it’s on your skin it gathers lint around the edges so doesn’t look too great, plus I would constantly worry it wasn’t on right as it wrinkles etc but it was still effective. Overall it was okay but the amount of side effects I had just wasn’t worth it for me.

Have been on the patch for over a year. Pill didn’t go well with me so tried it out. Absolutely loved it for a while, even though at first it felt like it made my mental health worse. It was good for a while but then I started getting pregnancy symptoms everytime I put a new patch on after a patch free week- hormonal spots, cramps, really really bad depressive and angry swings. I also hate the way it looks. I would bleed whilst it was still on. Hopefully coming off of it will improve this stuff!

The patch was ok. I definitely preferred it to taking a pill everyday but still had the issue of remembering when I had to put the new one on. My biggest issue with it was that as it’s sticky, it would get very dirty, very quickly either from sweat, clothes lint or general dirt and would start to lose its stickiness and did fall off a couple of times. I noticed quite a bit of weight gain as well as very enlarged breasts and there was an obvious loss of sex drive. I’m unsure I would use it again.

Very easy to remember, once a week, good to fit into a routine.

I decided to try the Patch as I didn’t think I’d remember the pill. It is so easy to apply and has never fallen off even when swimming. I had a few side effects when I first started like vomiting but after the second week everything was all good. My periods are regular and lighter which is definitely a bonus. Although it has increased my breast size, I don’t believe it to have made me gain considerable weight.

I swear by the patch, I love having control on when I am going to bleed. My natural periods were so heavy and painful, since being on the patch they are much lighter and barely painful andante for a max 5 days. Came off the patch when trying to conceive and got pregnant the month after, I was so concerned with being on the patch for 9 years whether it would take a long time to come out of my system but was over the moon.

I liked the idea of not having to worry about taking a pill each day but the patch was even more worrisome - it would come loose at the slightest sweat or after a bath. Once I had to replace 3 patches in 1 week! It's also quite gross how it attracts fluff from your clothes and is certainly not very discreet. Not for me.

Being on the patch was a complete different experience to the pill I was on Rigevidon- the pill made me depressed but when I was on the patch it's the best I'd felt in years. Sadly I had to stop using the patch due to it making my skin irritated, but other than that I had no negative side effects. I highly reccomend to anyone to try but I will say if you have sensitive skin like me you may find the skin sore after use due to the adhesive.

Had an awful experience with the patch, caused a rapid deterioration of my mental health over a three month period causing awful anxiety and low moods. Made me a lot more sensitive to small issues. Had a few physical problems like bloating, nausea and abdominal cramping however these passed after the first couple of months. Had to stop due to the negative effect on my mood.

I really liked taking this patch for the ease of use and regularity of it but have had to come off it due to the sheer amount of migraines I was getting. It also caused me to have hormonal hair breakouts on my face, but significantly reduced the amount of spots I was getting. No bloating, but made me very moody when I was on my period.
