I used the emergency contraception pill when someone ejaculated inside of me to avoid pregnancy and it was useful.

I mean, it did the job! I didn't get pregnant! I was early in my cycle (around cycle day 12) It was a super precaution as I was unsure if withdrawal was effective at the time. I was in an awful mood about 1/2 days after taking it (like mega PMS) and had spotting just before my period started. I also had a bout of thrush just before I got my period too after taking it.
Very negative mood

Had to take after a condom issue (whoopsie) while waiting to get an appointment for a coil fitting. Was concerned about all the side effects I’d read online but was really relieved that I didn’t experience any and was simple to take. Does the job (I’m not pregnant) but very, very expensive from local pharmacist. I wasn’t offered a range of the options available and in future will be ordering from the lowdown if needed again

I become pregnant even after taking Ellaone literally the morning after. I was so shocked to find out this will not work if you have already ovulated!!!! Please be careful!! I did not know this and was told by the nurse when I had to get an abortion. Very traumatic experience and did not think this would happen to me.
Somewhat negative mood

Do not recommend taking this if you’re allergic to milk or lactose intolerant. I was incredibly nauseous for over 3 days.

Took Ellaone in 3rd out of the 5 day window as we were unsure did condom leak since it tore. Had sex protected but failed contraception on 9th day of my cycle took Ella 3 days later. After ingesting felt cramps hour later. Over the weeks had been moody / tingling breasts / back ache / headaches dizzy nauseous and very bad acne. Took two tests both negative so awaiting aunty flo to make appearance as expected . I presume the tablet did its job but I wouldn’t rush to take it again instead I would go on the pill as well as use second method of contraception.
Very negative mood

The only problem with it is the price because MAP is expensive. Access is easy (UK) although you do sometimes have to put up with the provider being a bit embarrassed, judgey or asking you confidential questions on the shop floor 🙄.

Did the job just fine but definitely won’t be using that as my long term contraception

I have had plenty of both Ella One and Levonelle (am I spelling these right?!). They're both bloody excellent and for me no side effects except to my wallet at £30 a time. No side effects and infinitely preferable to an abortion. I eventually sorted out a copper coil because the morning after pill clearly isn't sustainable as a first choice for me and my partner and we don't like condoms. I've noticed people saying that it's 'bad' or 'unhealthy' to take multiple morning after pills and I'd like to know why. I don't know if they mean physiologically, financially, or 'morally' .

Extremely effective. So good that I got into an unhealthy pattern of using this pill at least once a month for 6mos.
