Mini pill vs Birth control shot

I used to be able to skip periods but my old birth control gave me monthly migraines so I switched to the mini pill. My migraines are decreasing and my periods are regular now.

When I started take this pill 3 weeks in I noticed my hair falling out I took it almost 2 months iv been off of it 3 weeks and my hair is still falling out when will it stop

Worked out great until I started losing my hair. Had more ovary pain too.

Unsure about depo considering switching too pill.

It’s not for me gave me lots of acne and constant mood swings.

I am experiencing hormonal changes, gained weight and high blood pressure but was advised to test in the hospital and l find out which birth control method is suitable for my body.

The shot has worked wonders as far as no longer getting the monthly, but I do feel as my cramps have progressed

It’s great after your body is used to it. Feels invasive when you first get it because of the mood swings, weight gain, loss of sex drive (this is almost permanent for me) and cramps. But……. Worth it i guess #nomoreperiods

I think this is a great birth control method if you have absolutely 0 other options, but it DESTROYED my sex drive and made sex painful because I was no longer getting as much lubrication as I used to. I also gained a good bit of weight and retained a lot of water.

I had a painful lump for 3 months where I got the shot

Personally this has not been a very good experience, even after over a year.
