It has been incredibly effective with preventing pregnancy. As long as it is taken consistently. Weight gain and loss of sex drive started within the first 6 months of taking.

I’ve been using this pill (or a generic version) for many years and never had any side effects other than a much lighter period. I continue to use it because of the lack of side effects!
