FemSeven Conti reviews

Femseven Conti contains both oestrogen and a synthetic progesterone in a balanced ratio to relieve perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms alongside protecting your womb lining. The progestogen is the same one used in combined pills such as Microgynon or Rigevidon , and as in the hormonal coils. You use the same patch and change it twice weekly. The patches are shaped like an octagon (8 sides!) and are clear. Users like the convenience of having both hormones in one patch. Doses can be increased or decreased after discussing with your healthcare professional by cutting the patches in half along the diagonal of the patch. Patches should be worn below the waist and away from breast tissue. Patches can be worn in the shower or bath or for swimming.

Continuous
Continuous HRT is where you take the same dose of both oestrogen and progesterone every day. It is used when your periods have stopped or when you have used cyclical HRT for more than 1 year. The aim of continuous HRT is to prevent bleeding.
Combined (oestrogen and progesterone)
Oestrogen is the main component of HRT. If you have a uterus you should use HRT which also contains progesterone, or alongside progesterone to protect the womb lining (endometrium) from overgrowing as this can increase the risk of endometrial cancer.
