The vaginal ring is a combined birth control method. It is a small soft plastic ring that you place inside, at the top of your vagina. It's often chosen for it's low hormone level and that it can reduce breakthrough bleeding and is ideal if you can't remember to take a daily pill.

Overall, the birth control is reliable. I like not having to worry about it on a daily basis and it does not interfere with sex.
