The Ocella birth control pill is a combined pill with a standard dose of estrogen and a progestin called drospirenone. It can be used to treat acne, mood problems, and some symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Some research has also linked it to increased sexual enjoyment. Compared with other combined pills, it has a slightly increased risk of blood clots, therefore it's usually not prescribed as a first choice option. It comes in a pack of 28 pills, 21 are yellow active pills containing hormones and the other 7 are white placebo pill with no active hormones during which you will have a withdrawal bleed.

Ocella birth control pill
Overall fine but sometimes will get breakthrough bleeding and spotting every day for weeks on end. This did not happen when I was not on birth control
