Loestrin 21 1/20 birth control pills contain a low dose of estrogen alongside an androgenic progestin. It's a safe place to start with birth control due to a low blood clot risk but the low oestrogen may mean some spotting. It comes in packs of 21 tablets meaning you can choose to take a 4 to 7 day break after each packet or take packs back to back to avoid withdrawal bleeds.
