Daysee is an "extended use" birth control which means you can have less withdrawal bleeds per year! Each packet contains 3 trays. Tray 1 and 2 contain 28 active pills in each which you take with no break in between. The final tray, number 3, contains 35 pills which are 28 active pills followed by 7 lower oestrogen pills during which you may have a withdrawal bleed. This is a great way to reduce potential side effects that may occur in the placebo week with other birth control options and to reduce the number of bleeds per year.
